Hi All!

I’m still (slowly) working on my Surfer Tee, but I’ve taken a brief hiatus to go to (and recover from) Maker Faire.  Craftsy had a big booth with lots of fun make & takes.  With over 10,000 fairegoers, we were BUSY!

Maker Faire was such a great experience! It’s been described to me as a Burning Man for makers…and it’s a pretty apt description!

In addition to meeting lots of awesome crafter / makers and seeing so many amazing robotics, light sculptures, and bike hacks, I learned to solder from the amazing Kate Richbourg, who is so fun and a really amazing teacher! Here she is in her booth, looking adorable:

Check out the music stage in the pic below…all pedal – power! My neighbor says he wants one of these bike generators to power his TV. Sounds like a good idea!
