Thanks. I kind of suspected that, particularly after the KAL for the shrug. I can of course figure it out - but when it is in a top-of-the-line mag like IK one expects NOT to have to figure things out as if one were designing it! Looking forward to the new pattern, BTW! Lovely fitted shawl.... now if only I could dredge up a relative that wants a shawl!

Rikihall: As is typical of magazine patterns, I designed that sweater in one size, and it was sized up and down from that by the magazine's tech editor.

I believe that the pattern has been updated by IK, so that the pattern that is now avialable for download on their site is correct.

your designs are beautiful. I did the KAL for the circular shrug and loved it ... have to say, though, that I was really disappointed in cable-down - the instructions for the sleeves were nonexistent for larger sizes - no info as to how many stitches to count in before starting the diamond pattern, etc. Also, the upsizing appeared to be done by calculator since it came out tunic length ... so of course had to rip the whole thing out. And sit and calculate the sleeves.

Congratulations on the upcoming family member!
